I've been playing guitar for 7 years now and love what rocksmith has been doing with its dlc however I think most people can admit metal is the most fun to play. The megadeth and priest
packs have been awesome but I think its time we got some modern metal. Here are some suggestions and why.

Disturbed - Down with the Sickness (great riffs and good use of harmonics and its drop D, also perfect for beginner level guitarist)
Trivium - Any song from ascendancy (all of them are in drop D, great use of both guitars, and from personal experience all the songs are really fun when your just starting to get the hang of playing)

Now this one is alittle out there but
As I lay Dying - The Sound of Truth (Its one of there only songs that can be played in drop D, its perfect for two guitarist, sick solo, and will be a challenge for intermediate and maybe even

I hope they come out with the Pioneers of Rock soon like Chuck Berry & Elvis, that should also satisfy the Rockabillies at the same time, I would think.

- maybe some 80s hair metal stuff, too

Stuff like that. Journey, in particular, has some nice solos that would be a lot of fun to play.
