Hi where can I find some tools to extract the files to mod Settlers 4?

I'm also interested in modding the AI and would welcome any information on how to go about this.

I spent some time recently looking into the game.lib file format.

the file itself seems to be a fairly simple archive format - but all of the files it contains are compressed.

While the files seem to be compressed using zlib, i cannot find any way to decompress the data without getting errors.

If theres anyone out there who knows anything about this file and the compression methods used (or has any ideas), i would greatly appreciate hearing from them.

I've tried using two utilities to extract the contents of the game.lib file. Universal Extractor and IZArc.

As far as I know the archive is in Installshield 3 format.

So, can you do any modding? What kind of mods would you do? Where could I find them?
