AI shouldn't be a problem, ive used the thief 3 editor (another unrealED), and the AI for that is what you call complex (equal if not more intelligent than Singleplayer SC). These SCDA bots are just MP bots that follow certain rules within thier own programming (search the map for spies, and protect objectives), they dont need to be set waypoints or have scripted events and coversations.

Probably all you will have to do is place objectives, and when you compile the map, it compiles an AI NavMesh which dictates where bots can go. (you get control over editing this to make certain places off limits, and will probably be able to set point of interest so they can check common camping spots etc.).

IF the AI themselves are programmed to search levels for spies, and protect objectives, then they will be able to check the compiled AI waypoint file/NavMesh to see where objectives are...<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

    aye

thats the splash im talkin about, looks like this games working title was "the assignment", now that would be a crappy name lol

Anyway looks like they intended to give an editor in the first place or there wouldnt be such a graphic, would probably just be the default UnrealED logo...<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I think they should have stuck with the title Splinter Cell: The Assignment. Double Agent just doesn't sound as cool.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

And you get rewards even if you lose! It doesn't get much better than that.

You all may remember our long time contributor MR. Mic who took part in porting the PT maps to CT, compiled the MR. Mic's Map Pack 1-5, Compiled a self extracting map installer for us in the map editing community, released the slow motion fix for people using AMD CPUs, released drivers for unlocking the framerates, and last but not least lets not forget how he always gave outstanding advice to all the newbs that coudn't get the game running or even enter their CD key properly. Well since he was deemed no longer "good" enough to post on or even view this forum i asked him if he would be interested in still contributing if we had access to the SCA editor. He said he would be interested. Then another problem came up, how would he post any of his contributed efforts for the community to see or download. Well i guess that i will have to post that for him as well. So anyhow, he would like me to sign the petition for him since he is no longer allowed to do it for himself.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

    What happened to Mr. Mic?

I too would love to see a map editor, but I wouldn't bother creating a map unless there is a thriving online community. Right now the community looks more like CT's a year and a half after the game had been released.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Keep it coming guys! If everyone who signed this petition would have created ONE map, we would have more maps than Ubisoft released for DA.

Keep the signatures coming guys!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Proud to say that I am the first to ever compile a custom sound package and mesh with animation package, into Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory?s editor.

We want a DA map editor release
