My one isn't working either. Contacted local office promised to ring back 26 hrs later no call back. Contacted local office again was given tech support # but is was the same one as on the jacket. ....line disconnected. Local office will look into why the paid service doesn't work. Question why am I expected to pay to get assistance for a defective package. On the verge of returning the product for a refund.
Got a working serial # now loads more patches but crashes " Fail to initialise direct x". Have Ver 11 installed

Yes you have directx 11 on your computer but the game still has to run it's own directx.
Try running the directx setup again. You will have to copy & paste the directx folder into you game dir.
Go to the folder where the game was downloaded. Than you will have to click on Ubisoft 2070 / Anno 2070 / Anno 2070 setup / support / directx

Once you have that in your game dir just open that folder and click on the dxsetup icon.

A bit after you guys, but yeah...same here. uPlay asked me first for it, which worked, and then I need to enter it AGAIN, and it doesn't work? What the? This is the physical collector's edition version.

I have exactly same problem as user Argan_85 - Anno 2070 asked me to fill cd-key for the first time after install, which worked, then get Anno 2070 in Uplay - list of my games. OK, thats fine. But then in actual game another required filling cd-key, it doesnt work. it show me error massage - Cd key alredy in use by another user. At this moment dont know what to do.
Ubi support "Ask a question" function gave me another error massage : " A problem has been encountered. Your question could not be processed. " , so i turned on you, guys. Please help me !!
