Hey im new to the game (homam V), and was wondering what peoples fav heros are and why. Also what are the best attributes to upgrade for that hero to become ultimate?

Without a doubt, it has to be the Inferno hero Deleb for me. Her fireball ballista is very cool and does a lot of damage, especially once you get Expert War Machines and the Ballista ability. That thing can wipe out a majority of an enemy's army.

omg, nathir and phoenix feather cape, and expert destruction and armeggedon or fireball. Boom there goes your defense and your stack. Armeggedon is an extremely strategic spell, do not tell me it sucks in this thread, I find it extra power, one of my top picks for tier 5 spells.

I am also partial to Nathir, because he looks like a one bad dude and he has starting abilities that:

1) allow quick expansion
2) are useful and relevant to an academy hero
3) do not disqualify you for the Ultimate.

I also like Jhora and Sinitar for similiar reasons.

For me its Deirdre. She is one of the few Necromancers that has the ability to reach to reach Howl of Terror and that coupled with her own ability to increase the Banshee Wail makes her just unstoppable at higher levels. Anything living gets almost -9 to -10 in Morale just pretty much stops them from moving altogether.

Deleb aswell, I like inferno the most and Deleb is IMO the best inferno hero atleast at low lvs, not that the ballista cant kill two archangles at highlevels and have AoE damage.

Thing with deleb is you can let her run around with 50imps some horned deamons and some cerebri and kill most naturals and just gather resources and xp, first aid tent allows for minimal losses. Meanwhile you can have your main army on another hero and with that also take most naturals. And thereby expanding really fast and managing the high resource requirements inferno have.

Deleb is great, but for easy battles with (by the end) no losses, you cannot beat Vlad...once he gets enough spellpower and knowledge it is virtually impossible to beat him

I agree with Vladimir beeing the best hero.

Incredible useful in the start with the raise dead ability, and very powerful in endgames when he has high spellpower and can raise his undead tropps.

For Haven I like Rutger, he starts off with logistics and pathfinding, and has a specialty that gives you more movement over levels.

Also, Deleb and Nathir are very good heroes.
