Click the link below for an interesting read. You'll get just another picture of how Ubisoft is such a shark.

Are you really posting this to inform people or to just start another Anti-Ubisoft thread?
This issue has actually been posted before and most people now about the matter already. I will leave the link up (For the time being) so those that have not had a chance to read can do so. If this thread turns into a Ubi-Hate thread then you know what happens...

I just read this article and to be fair to Ubisoft and I am a bit confused why this point was made by Reggo.
The article, although talking about an incident in the past with Ubisoft has nothing to do with Far Cry 2 which is what this forum has been made for and not general topics about the company itself. I am sure there are much more relevant forums then this one to post a post about Ubisoft and the Media.
I know that I can't speak for everyone bit personally I could not care less about Ubisoft's relationship with the media, especially about a past game. My only concern is with the game Far Cry 2. Unfortunately there have not been released as many relevant details as I would have liked by this time, but when all is said and done that is the company's perogative to withhold whatever they deem neccessary until the time is right .... although a few more tidbits here and there would be very appreciative

<span class="ev_code_YELLOW">Trust me, if you want a news to be unknown, post it in the ''off-topic'' forum.
Also, I'm a regular of the Rainbow Six forums, and we have the habit of talking of much more than just the R6 game over there. Indeed, that news was found on the ''R6 Vegas 2'' forum, and this game was announced far more recently than FC2. Yet, you'll find far more discussions about business practices of UBI than on R6V2 on this forum, but there are good reasons for it I guess...

This is the issue that is raised in the article. It seems that the editors are being forced to release only good opinions of a game even if its not good, for fear of being cut out of the loop.
So you wont know the truth whether a game is good or bad untill you have actually played it.
Quite sad really =/

I actually bought a subscription to EGM because of this.
