Activation process terminated INVALID SERIAL | Forums

Well I just got home a little while ago and started the install of FarCry 2. At the end it asks you to activate with your serial #. It keeps saying invalid serial. I have tried the described manual activation process and it still says the same crap. I am not alone either. My father is also enjoying the same problem. Going to try it on 3rd purchased copy on my kids computer next. As it stands now we have 2 of 3 copys that will not activate. These were all purchased retail from Gamestop. If anyone has any ideas that may be helpful; I'm all ears. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I hope this isn't my reward for buying another Ubisoft game. Anyways, please help.

Just a little update from above post. Just tried to install FarCry 2 on my childrens computer. FAIL !!! Same as the other two copys.So now we have 3 different copys with 3 different serial #'s that are supposedly invalid. Go Ubisoft. Sure am glad we preordered the special edition. Three brand new $50.00 coasters.

I have the same problem with the Gamestop version.

Learn to use the forum. We all already know what the issue is. Just be patient and keep trying. They are still getting keys into the database.

Yeah hes been trolling around everywhere telling us all to basically stop whining, when hes got a downloadable copy anyways so this doesnt affect him. Ill keep you updated on my status, just check the other thread in the main forum

Hey guys, I got mine working now.

Apparently, you have to register first and then enter your product key (serial).

Once I registered, then when I put my key in, it worked.
