i have been watching this show on hulu.com it's a little cheesy but I find myself drawn in. It's like a cheap tv fantasy series, anyone else watch it?

    Valkyrie,

Yeah, I've been watching it and it's just as you say...cheesy, a little annoying at parts but I also can't stop watching it

yea, its funny how that is lol. I just finished up the last of season 1 right now. Apparently this is based of Terry Goodkind's The Sword of Truth series. Someone recommended those to me before, and now I am going to have to buy them lol.

I bought the episodes from live. It doesn't do much for me. but it was fun to see some of the New Zealand actors from the old Hercules and Xena? spelling? days. Also it looks like they were trying to develop a spin off for the female character

Save your money. I am informed that the tv show is MUCH better than the books. (Specifically, I am informed that the books start out okay, but quickly devolve into Ayn Rand fanfic.)

Are you kidding me?! The books are simply amazing! This show doesn't give them justice at all.

I do enjoy watching the show but the books are simply amazing and Terry Goodkind does an amazing job in creating interesting characters and an interesting world. I own/have read all of the books so I say give them a shot.
