At least, on the PC side, people have expressed clearly enough what they wish (I think).
The average console 'fan' is different to the PC fan. This does not mean people with the same mentality as PC fans, play consoles. I was a 'console fan' untill i discovered pc games. It is not what you play that puts you in these categories, it is your mentality.
Let me tell you what peoploe mean when they say PC fan: Everyone gets consoles (kids as young as 4) but only a certain type of person will buy a pc and play games online (a techinically aware person). You need to know quite a bit about PC's/the internet, to play games online and the more you know the better your experience.

Don't forget that the poll is not addressed merely to the console fans. It is addressed to R6 console fans. It makes a difference.
As KFCIA and other people already mentioned, there might exist people that would like to play tactical shooters (in the hard/strong definition) on a console. In other words, maybe there are people that would like to play a real R6 game (complete with all we got with Rogue Spear and Raven Shield) on a console. And they have a console instead of a gaming computer because they can't spend more than, let say, 1000$ on a game platform.
Of course, the average console player probably prefer arcade games over tactical shooters. But if SOME console players would like to play a complex tactical shooter on a console, the R6 console forum is the right place to look for them, isn't it?
If my poll, or any other tool for that matter, could show Ubisoft that R6 console fans would prefer to play Raven Shield on a console, rather than RS3, then maybe we (the PC fans) would have even better chances to get truly deep tactical shooters (GR and R6) on our PCs.
You get my point ?
Unfortunately, the poll doesn't seem to be successful. Maybe I do not ask the good questions, I don't know...
EDIT:
I am aware that a more complex poll, or a more complex set of questions, might be necessary to demonstrate that R6 tactical features may appeal more than gimmicks (like graphics, special effects and PEC modes).
Both if console people are not even willing to answer a simple 5 questions poll...
The problem I see with the current poll is this:
If they play Rainbow 6 on just the console, how does everyone voting seem to like the fact that it's so similar to the PC? I mean how do they know how the PC version plays? Lockdown doesn't play at all like the old R6 games (I don't count Lockdown for the PC to be a PC R6 game, because it is SO different from the other R6s).
no offence here, but if you want only the console players opinion with out interference of the pc players you would be better off to post in the console forums than that pc forums... just a thought.
I still dont get why you want our opinions on the console players opinions?
Who actually gives a **** what they want. We want the games to be developed seperately dont we?

I believe he used this name to make it seem like his posts have some sort of merit when most of his posts are the typical "I hate Lockdown" posts on the Lockdown PC Forum and he just joined these forums last Friday (17th).
