Ubisoft intro scratchy and distorted | Forums

I have just installed Revelations and after a very long patch update I can play.

On start up, however, the Ubisoft logo and the first bit of text are scratchy and distorted as if there is some sort of interference. Does anybody else have this?

I just wanted to know if that is what is is meant to be like (a Revelations type desynchronizing effect) or is it some corruption with my intro. It has gone by the time I have to push enter.

If it is a problem can anyone suggest what can be done short of reinstalling and having to download that neverending patch!

Yes, it's part of the intro - I have no bugs (other than a minor dye color issue that's temporary) & it does that.

Its a feature. To signify the "glitched" Animus state. its perfectly fine, Ubisoft have been using it in promotional material since Revelations was announced.

If you haven't seen it before, it is a little concerning. First time I saw it, I was watching a video, and I thought something was wrong with the website or something. Reloaded it, still did it, and it finally sank it that it was supposed to be like that. Still, they weren't even doing it from the very beginning--E3 trailer didn't have it.
