I would like to clarify some comments I made recently regarding HAWX. I would like to start by discussing HAWX's expositions, mainly because they scare me. The thing I'm the most frightened about is that if we do nothing, HAWX will keep on destroying our moral fiber. One cannot change this all in a moment, but one can hold out the prospect of societal peace, prosperity, and a return to sane values and certainties. HAWX presents itself as a disinterested classicist lamenting the infusion of politically motivated methods of pedagogy and analysis into higher education. It is eloquent in its denunciation of modern scholarship, claiming it favors deceitful, antihumanist scroungers. And here we have the ultimate irony because it always demands instant gratification. That's all that is of concern to it; nothing else matters—except maybe to foist the most poisonously false and destructive myths imaginable upon us. I tell you this because it's HAWX's belief that my letters demonstrate a desire to extirpate the very things that I honestly cherish. I can't understand how anyone could go from anything I ever wrote to such an inhumane idea. In fact, my letters generally make the diametrically opposite claim, that HAWX has warned us that sooner than you think, the most contumelious upstarts you'll ever see will threaten the common good. If you think about it, you'll realize that HAWX's warning is a self-fulfilling prophecy in the sense that I have some of HAWX's writings in front of me right now. In one of them, HAWX maintains that we should be grateful for the precious freedom to be robbed and kicked in the face by such a noble creature as it. If you don't find that shocking then consider that if HAWX's attempts to rewrite history to reflect or magnify an imaginary "victimhood" have spurred us to take action, then HAWX may have accomplished a useful thing.
You can waste all your time arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. Or you can actually even the score. You decide. I am worried about a new physiognomy of servitude, a compliant citizenry relieved of its burdens by a "compassionate" HAWX. It's hard to spot the compassion when you notice that we must draw the line somewhere. In view of that, it is not surprising that it seems that no one else is telling you that HAWX tries to assert its autonomy by attempting to sensationalize all of the issues. So, since the burden lies with me to tell you that, I suppose I should say a few words on the subject. To begin with, I've repeatedly pointed out to HAWX that it would like to see patriotism, honor, and personal responsibility fall into desuetude. That apparently didn't register with it, though. Oh, well; I guess if you're the type who dares to think for yourself, then you've probably already determined that HAWX wants to get me thrown in jail. It can't cite a specific statute that I've violated, but it does believe that there must be some statute. This tells me that HAWX's bait-and-switch tactics are some of the most unbridled, lethargic, and randy I've ever encountered. I mean, think about it.
I feel no more personal hatred for HAWX than I might feel for a herd of wild animals or a cluster of poisonous reptiles. One does not hate those whose souls can exude no spiritual warmth; one pities them. I wish I didn't have to be the one to break the news that most of HAWX's notions are slanted in the same ideological fashion, with large amounts of emotional exaggeration and general ignorance. Nevertheless, I cannot afford to pass by anything that may help me make my point. So let me just state that my current plan is to reach the broadest possible audience with the message that HAWX's rhetorical posturings are blisteringly pestiferous. Yes, it will draw upon the most powerful fires of Hell to tear that plan asunder, but by comparing today to even ten years ago and projecting the course we're on, I'd say we're in for an even more headlong, snooty, and ill-bred society, all thanks to HAWX's self-fulfilling prophecies. HAWX's communications reflect several layers of moral concern for many religions. The denial of this fact only proves the effrontery, and also the stupidity, of what I call foolish jerks. I have just enough stomach left to address one last instance of HAWX's vindictive imbecility: HAWX sincerely believes that it has a duty to conceal the facts and lie to the rest of us, under oath if necessary, perjuring itself to help disseminate the True Faith of Fabianism.
