Thread: Need help with Winzip "save full path info"?? | Forums

  1. #1
I've come under some flak for not winzipping my previous campaigns so that the mission and other files auto-extract to the appropriate end destination in the game folder. According to a tutorial, I can get them to do this by checking a box in the winzip interface labelled "save full path info" and browsing to the appropriate folder. My problem: Where the #$@+~*&!!!!! is the box that I have to check?? I can't find it.

When you open "winzip", you start at an empty selection box with icons for "open" & "New".

When you click "new", you will get another window where you will be prompted to name your file. After you type in the name in the "new archive" window & hit [enter], you will get a new window that looks kind of like this.....

the check box is at the bottom of the page. (red circle) When you get this far, you simply browse to the files you want to zip & select them all. Check back if you have any issues getting the correct path to save.

Thanks. I may be saved from my own stupidity as M4T has offered to ride shotgun on my future submissions and make sure they auto-extract properly. I'm going to mess around with Winzip anyway for future reference. Thanks - as always - for your help.
