Good question Starforce3. I think it would but not sure. I don't think it would hurt anything for you to try.
One thing about it though. When I installed it to use with the regular SH4 it did not show up on my menu. So what I did was restart my computer and then it showed up.

I think the Tokyo Express mission is included with 1.5, which is part of Gold.

I have the gold edition also, and that mission is not inclueded, and I have downloaded it and still no joy
