If you are speaking about the maneuver at approximately the 2:40 and 4:15 mark it has, it's just a Cobra.

EDIT - About the cockpit mode. Looks good, but man, that blimp camera better have an option to turn off. I want no part of that.

I know what the maneuver is called. I was being sarcastic. Of course the F-22 can do that. It just can't do it as fast as the video game has the F-22 doing it. Watch both videos, the gameplay of HAWX clearly over does the abilities of the F-22. Watch how fast HAWX has the F-22 pulling off the maneuver. Huge difference in what the plane can do in the game, and what the plane can do in real life. In real life there are physics. Obviously in games physics do not apply.

cockpits look very nice. and wtf raptor can pull manuvers like that??? but that would black out teh pilot hard. still its pretty cool

The cockpit doesnt look too good.. Thought it would look better with like an actual cockpit view. That view just has the things infront of you. I want a cockpit that has stuff over your head and to your sides, and like you look to the sides and you see the airplane's wings. That view looks like you're floating or something.

Ok I watched this video and tried to understand exactly what the ERS and Assistance mode does. ERS gives you the best possible route to take to evade a missile or take down the enemy fighter. Got that. Assistance gives you all the data of the battlefield and situational awareness as well as prevents you plane from stalling out. Got that.

Then the dude talks about when you turn this stuff off you lose all those safety features and you go into the blimp view so that you can see what your plane can do.

If I play with ERS and assistance off, does the game force me to play in that damn blimp view?

I hope I misunderstood the way this works. Watch that video I linked up above and you might get the same impression I got. I don't care for the blimp view, and I think they are ******ed for even putting it into an air combat game.

Gamespot preview says this.....

"The most dangerous but exciting option of avoiding being hit is to turn off the computer, which allows you to perform much more dangerous evasive maneuvers. This can potentially stall the plane too, but the excitement is emphasised by the camera panning out to show both you and the chasing rocket. These balletic airborne dances were something we never tired of seeing, although they were much more difficult to perform than the developers made it look."

What I take from that and the video is the when you turn off the computer, the camera goes into blimp view. Is this true, or can we choose to stay in cockpit view or 3rd person?

Thats what I'm still confused about.

I wish a dev would clear this up and not be so vague on the issue. Every preview I've read about the game all say the same thing about going into the blimp view when you disable the noob stuff.
