    HERE IS THE REAL ANSWER.
The cast and staff at splinter cell did relize that the lense does not glow green, ofcoarse. But you see if you didnt know any better that glow is his logo. You see ubisoft wants something that you would remember about Sam Fisher and the game. Thats why in most of your trailers in because with darkness and then you see a 3 little lights go on that are green. Ubisoft is tryinh to stick that image in you head so that when you see it somewhere else your like....."splinter cell".
"The world is sick and horrible, nasty and horrific, dominated by evil pwer that is slowly taking over the world as people fall into the orbit of EVIL. Might as well go with it..."

Don't worry oFZo, having a black and white screen is normal. The green tint when in nightvision is abnormal. If you check out the demo of the original Splinter Cell, you will notice it was in green but it was fixed in the real game.
Which leads me to my conclusion that either something is wrong with the game of the persons getting a green tint, or they're playing the original demo.
