Big surprise, but i've got the "game won't start/only loads splash screen" problem.

In my case, i'm using an Asus laptop with 32bit Vista, my graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 120M.

I recently updated my driver to run the crysis demo, and i've heard that certain driver updates have been causing the problem. Other than that i have no idea what the problem is.

Oh, and i do not believe i have the ASUS gamer OSD program(did not see it in ASUS program files), in case i do, can someone tell me how to find it?

anyway, what's the first thing i need to do?
