We get warnings that the Conviction servers are offline when trying to play private match.
I noticed one other person dealing with this.
The four of us are experiencing it now. We tried yesterday (22nd) and then today and still get same error.

Hi there.
Have you contacted support ?
If not can I suggest that you do, they may well be able to help with your connection issues, or if it's a server issue, advise you on the expected downtime.
Contact information for them is available in your games manual - or you can use the weblink in my signature.

Yes we did and we ended up opening ports on our routers. Don't know if that helped much because now the four of us cannot connect.
We have had success connecting to the multiplayer aspect but cannot connect to our friends. Sometimes both won't work or just one would work at a random time and visa versa. Then sometimes we all would see each other and then we would attempt to connect (only 2 at a time) and then we get server is not online error. If we are lucky and I really mean lucky we can get connected for a coop game in just under a hour and a half.
We feel that the server configeration in regards to intergrating friends with multiplayer gaming. Its funny how I can connect to my friends list but then not be able to connect to multiplayer conviction server to even search for a game. And when we clan log into the multiplayer aspect we are not able to invite our friends because it cannot connect to the server.
It became very random at first by perception but now we are starting to see patterns. We all are not happy as it has to be UBsoft issue. We removed the idea that it could be steam because we have had the same issues with those who purchased the game (on disk) at a local game store and don't run steam.
We are just perplexed and would be really disappointed if we have to deal with this any further. We pay too much money to use every aspect of a game for it to have the second best aspect besides campaign mode to be ridiculously difficult to connect and play a game.
Oh well.... eh?
