@ Celeon, great link to your interesting thread, many thanks! How technical is running/installing a dual boot? do you simply choose which OS to run from startup or BIOS?
I'm debating one of the Asus P5Q mobos & another HD3870 to Xfire with the one I've already got, having upgraded to the HD3870 & an E8400 chip in May I've had some stability issues so I'm thinking a new mobo (& poss OS) rebuild would basically give me a new rig, + the Xfire option is tempting
However, I'm also looking for something I can put together myself without too much hassle - hence my Vista question as you do seem to hear about a lot of teething problems.
