Game loads then says "GAME PAUSED" | Forums

Silent hunter III was working fine, then one day I load the torpedo link in the naval academy (just started playing this month) and the game is paused. Tried other links, single missions etc....same thing. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same thing. Can anyone help?

This is a guess but when you un-installed SH3 did you run a registry cleaner before installing again. You might try that.

Check your main.cfg file in your C:\Users\"your name here"\Documents\SH3\data\cfg and compare the TIME COMPRESSION section, with the same file in the SH3\data\Cfg\Main.cfg. Both should match. Usually what happens is the one in your documents file is missing, or incorrect. To fix just copy the good one and paste it in place of the bad one.

most SH-3 players have SH-3 commander .
if you have SH-3 commander open menu time compression .
when game paused : standard mode must be ( 1024 )
