Map 'Sabotage' freezes half way through | Forums

I finally beat far cry on medium, with no cheating btw. (I should have started on easy )

Now I'm going to start playing through some of the mods. I downloaded the map 'Sabotage' (just as everyone in my situation probably does) but there's a major problem. Every time I see a certain merc and the AI sequence starts running my game completely freezes. I can still hear sound normally but I'm on a frozen frame, like the AI has gone into an infinite for loop. I don't think it's an overheating issue, as my comp plays the campaign fine (on all high, tex VH). So, is it just me?

Not all of the user created maps run on all computers. They just do not have the hours of playtesting, tweaking and troubleshooting that professional maps do. Rather than try to get that one to work, I would suggest trying others that are more likely to work on your machine. The Matto series is a great one to play. Also, madman and outpost22.
