Thread: Will This DVD Player Work? | Forums

  1. #1
Guys and gals, just looking to run this game and have read that there are some conflicts with the protection rights with some of the DVD players that copy. Since I do not have a DVD player, was thinking about just getting this DVD from Computer Sonics that just plays DVD's to put in my open bay and keep my current CD-ROM that I use to burn cds.
Thanks for any help and advice.

I am not fimiliar with that brand. However, 2 drives is the best way to go. One playback only and the other burns. But you may still have a problem with any third party burning software. I don't use any except what comes with XP which isn't much.

    Thanks Lt,
It was you that put me on this path.
I am hoping that if I get this DVD player that just plays and has no software to burn a DVD, I will avoid all the problems. Found a Sony too that just plays DVD with no burning ability, but its $60.00.
