Here's information for others that still have Pacific Fighters and want to patch it. Use the patch order listed in Urufu's link at the top. You don't need the 3.03 to 3.04 patch either, it's incorporated into the 4.01 patch.

Also, here's a link for known good 3.03 and 3.03m patch files, not FUBAR ones that many have run into. The patch list in the above link from Urufu has download links that may have corrupted or switched 3.03/3.03m files. Get all your patches from here:

I have FB+AEP and PF installed separately.
I have downloaded the current patches, but these (3.0-4.04) won't work.
the planes show up in the folders but not in the game.

Welcome here!

Unfortunately, you'll have to install all the applicable patches. Each patch has its unique contents, so all five patches need to be applied, in the correct order.

What is the difference in installing PF as a stand alone or FB+AEP+PF? So far I installed PF as a stand alone and patched it up to 404.exe.Is it possible to install FB+AEP+PF now or how is it working? Game works great with Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit so far!

It's not posssible to convert your Stand alone PF into FB+AEP+PF. Reason is, you will have to have FB+AEP first. (Forgotten Battles with Ace Expansion Pack.) You can install PF on top of that.

But, you would not want to do that, as you'd better get your hands on IL2 Sturmovik 1946, as that one contains FB+AEP+PF, and some more stuff, patched up all the way to v4.07m...

No.
Though some aircraft will be added when you patch it up to the latest available version.
