no,no!not the game, that would be a little early.
no,i figured out why i am standing so open for this new product.
in the past i played the entire row of silent hunter games and was sometimes disapointed by the results but, exept SHIV,wish lacked the tention i felt in SHIII,i always had a good time while sitting behind my computer playing silent hunter.
since i have just been getting out of hospital and have to revalidate for a long time i was looking for the add-on(u-boat missions) to kill my time.instead i saw that there was going to be a SHV availleble in a month!
it seems to me that this edition will be completely different from the previous ones, first person view, the possibility to see the entire sub in- and outside and the better graphics are the pro's on the product.
while reading the forum i noticed that many disaprove with the ubisoft decissions on the shorter carreer, dynamic campaign and some other issues.
maybe i see this edition as a way to spend my time off and enjoy the hunt, kill and wonderfull sights rather than those who want another,as close as possible to realism,sub-sim.
so,i can only think of myself in opposite to the die-hard simmers as an easy customer,a gamer rather than a simmer.when i want to sim i(when back on my feet) take my airsoftrifle and start a milsim-game together with one hunderd plus others.
One thing that already has been said is that Ubisoft is not a no profit organisation,it's all about how much they can make out of a game.therefore they focus more on the fun aspect rather than trying to please the smaller group of simmers, and i can live with that.

With no offence, but this is an utter nonsense. Yeah, they do it for fun and glory... Ccccccc

Personally I do approve the decision to shorten the campaign, as it makes a lot of sense. And the only one type of the U-Boat. Provided they do it right (which by the looks of the conning tower they didn't).

There are far more other important issues at hand now, and that is OSP - not being able to play the game unless online and connected to the UBI server. That is what is bothering the community the most, with me included.

about the server thing is one thing i don't understand neighter.
does ubisoft give a reasonable motivation or do they just want control their copyright?
maybe they want to learn about tactics and plan to do this by watching us play their game

Maybe by being connected to the Ubisoft Server they can monitor the game and get faster bug feed back so that they can give us faster smaller updates so that we can enjoy the game. even with the shorter campaign, maybe this levels it open so that they can bring in an expansion pack for the later years of the war.

I think that most of these fans that ***** about the "having to be online to play" will still purchase the game and all this will be forgotten when they are commanding their u-boat

It's absolutley uncanny how many of you UBI fans can not see your nose in front of your face as far as this OSP ordeal. UBI is just setting there untill release day then while you all start crying they will mentaly say: SUCKERS!

I'm going to mark that day on the calendar.

Course you may get lucky as UBI may delete OSP?
