It was tested just a bit, and they encountered critical perfomances issues. However at the very same time was happening a server overload so those ingame perf issues may have been caused by those server issues and not the fix.

If some of you have a laptop with this issue, or even no issue at all and desktop it would be cool if you can DL the .exe, replace the old one with it (KEEP the OLD ONE and MOVE IT TO A BACKUP FOLDER) and tell me if you see any issue (perf, crash..).

yeah i know well there is a lot of dedicated people working bheinde the sceen to make fixes as fast as they can

I still have exactly the same thing even with the new exe file. black screen then eternal loading logo

Guys, try this if you still have the black screen problem...

1) Open the file "ProfileData" located in \Users\your_userame\Documents\Might & Magic Heroes VI\your_username folder.

2) Change the line:
<gfx_InvalidateShaderCache>true</gfx_InvalidateShaderCache>
to
<gfx_InvalidateShaderCache>false</gfx_InvalidateShaderCache>

This solved the problem for me and works even with the original exe file.

I have a Radeon card (4850), if that helps.

on my laptop the game is only run through the Steam game manager, so the .exe file does not work for me
