Did anyone have missing water streams in Serenia? Not doing anything I walk from one lane to another, knowing that the water should follow. I look one way I see water flowing under a bridge. I walk around a rock onto that same bridge and zip-o no water under the bridge. I know it is the same bridge too. The node to node movement does NOT make Serenia very fair, IMO.

It's a setting in your Options menu under Graphics.
Basically what you should trust is what you see in your immediate vicinity and not worry about things in the distance cuz that's just a rendering issue.

Are you really serious? I could fix that in the options? I know about the blurry images for focusing. Nice touch. But because of the node to node movement I relied on my distance viewing to see if water was flowing around that rock or not. So when I went over a bridge that had water and then looked at it from afar and it didn't have water I was screwed. I mapped the whole thing too. I only gripe because I tried like hell to not use any helps. I rarely use helps unless I am totally stuck for several hours. Myst is special to me and I didn't want to use any. So when I had to go get a copy of the map of Serenia I felt like I lost at the goal line.

No, there's definitely a bug in the water/no water logic on certain screens. I've found that if you follow the water from upstream to downstream it'll straighten itself out. I've tested this on multiple occasions and have found the water to be flowing on the screen I'm on when it should be off.
I have a few conjectures why this bug occurs, but I was disappointed to see that the patch didn't fix it (at least on an existing save) as this bug has been there since the initial version.
