In the review for the PC version, gamespot said that its a stripped down version from the console. Are there anything missing from the pc ver when compare to the console ver~?

as far as i know consoles has 4v4 but i guess cause if ubisoft was to like...release all features for computer and not work..then people would be ****ed. Taking a stab at the dark

What is missing? Here are just a few that I have seen thus far:

1) No chatting in lobby and game with partner. That is a big issue in my opinion. It is imperative to have this and I hope someone just fell asleep at the wheel and it will be added with a patch.
2) The 4vs4 on the console just became available with the recent patch. It was not available until last week. It is nice feature.

Now, what I would like to know...is where is the "status" bar within the game that was advertised. By this I mean...knowing how close the battle is going between the two factions in the territory. This was something that made we want to buy the PC version. It is very frustrating looking at the bar online (in the ToW link) and try and judge who is winning. Sometimes, if it looks like the battle is futile...you can concentrate on another territory so you dont lose 2. Not sure where it is...but, that was a key addition to the PC that is currently not there. Wish Quid or Raide would answer that question.

no idea me and dougem noticed a day or so ago. He said he posted it in the technical forums and i'll probably call them to see if they are going to fix it.

IGN just gave Empire:TW a 9.5 and called it "the greatest strategy title ever conceived".
