Anyone else get this? I'm religously checking the delivery dates & times, it's coming today! PC upgrade goodness is on the way and I can't wait. Maybe I need less coffee. Or a life so I'd think about something else =)

Ohh Doc! I'm gonna tear into the Wii for your hurtful PC bashin' remarks! Doc, this upgrade cost LESS than the Wii, and here's the kicker, the processor runs at a combined speed of 4.4ghz, guess what the Wii's processor runs at? (Hint: think circa 1999<like Prince> and in Mhz=)

    OHHHH! What now HOLIDAZED!?

I also got a free copy of AOE 3, I'm guessing it sucks if it's already a promotional POS, anyone got a review?

Nice Mike, looks like some wonderful stuff.

I'm also still into PC gaming, though I haven't done any upgrades in a few years. I'm currently building a monster of a new system. All I need is my final quote from the company I'm dealing with and then it's on to the..."Where's my stuff, I ordered it days ago?"

Maybe I'll post some specs later.

Mike, you have WAY too many mice on your desktop.

The initial dive into PC gaming is the big expense. If you properly purchase your equipment with upgradeability in mind, you can get buy upgrading once every 6 months to the tune of 200 bucks and have a 90ish% of top of the line PC. Well, it used to be that way 18 months ago atleast. I used to be addicted to Anandtech and Tom's Hardware for the latest benchmarks. We are all OCD, we just need to figure out what we are OCD about. In my case it's RAID performance.......

    What?
No really, it is this easy....

Easy killa! To each his own. If it's your hobby and one love then it's worth it right? Looks nice though.

LOL, But Doc, where would we be without feigned offense in the ongoing PC vs. Console battle?

Pac, I know. Normally there are only two, but I'm doing a backup/sync and I can't stand the touch pad on my dinosaur laptop. I may be OCD about backups, but I've got emails and mp3's from 1997, I'd hate to lose them now!

I gave up PC gaming after i realised that Hardware developers are constantly dropping the new hottness on the market before developers can create enough games to work with the stuff. It is a complete rip off. Buy a console $400. over the course of a five year lifespan the games increase in looks and gameplay 10 times over Because the developers are always learning things about the hardware and improving on it. No other investment other than some games.
Buy or build a killer gaming rig $1500.-$3200. Buy a couple of games. Oops...they are not compatable download a patch. Six months later. Invest in a new GFX card $300. - $600. Oops not compatable, download another patch or six. Damn need more memory $150.-$250. Hey this game looks sweet! Buy it...oops, not compatable...better download another patch.
Rinse and repeat every six to twelve months.
Point: For what you spend over the same period, i get a new console, 2 years of XBOX LIVE service, a bunch of killer games, another controller, a nice vacation with my lady, a new and sweet car stereo w/speakers and a month's worth of groceries at least.

    PWNED
