Having an issue with the HUD not working properly. It always displays "E No Ammo" in the middle of the screen and always shows me crouched.

Also, I can't pick up ammo or weapons whatsoever. Otherwise the action key seems to work fine, I got through Mexico with it.

I tried reinstalling from scratch, didn't fix it.

This is PC: Windows XP SP2 ATI 1800XL latest drivers.
