So far I'm not a fan of the new board. I like going up to the top and jumping right to a topic, not backtracking to one. KISS comes to mind. Maybe once I get used to it, like I did with playing GR, it'll be okay. Old dog, new tricks? New wine, old bag?

I do think the smileys are cool.

I also noticed some threads have completely disappeared.

you will have to re enter you sig in ur preferences...plus the new boards dont use html codes but ubb(think thats what it is)....so rather that <img> etc...you use [IM G]url[/I MG]

If you want you can use html too.

There are a LOT of things from a mod side of this software that I like much better than the old.

From the user side its tons better IMHO.

From the list of posts you can click on the name of the last poster and it will take you to the most recent post instead of clicking on the the topic name and going to the first post

Oh, and mods or someone can give you a title, like "administrator" or "chief spambot"
