    Give the Ghosts some level IV armor and we'll be set. I've heard some amazing stories of the stopping power in CQC.

    There was a shock plate in that vest he was wearing. There is a pic of him holding the plate to his chest. Do a bit of research before sticking foot in mouth.

    WhiteKnight, there's something I read about a while back and before I go searching all over the place for it, I was wondering if you'd know what I’m talking about.

    It's still in experimental stages right now... hell, I cant really remember, it may still be “theoreticalâ€Â. Its flexible body armor that’s made of a thin “gel-like†material. Like liquid-glass particles or something. Supposedly, it’s flexible until its hit w/ great force and then it instantly hardens. They say it can stop knives, bullets, shrapnel…

    You know what I’m talking about?

    @WK

    So do you keep track of all of the guys you have "busted" over the years? J/K

    BTW, that guy looks like he was punched in the chest by a powerlifter. I was looking at a vest with a plate that can stop a .308 and the price was $659. No Kevlar, only some velcro straps to hold the plate in place. Too much for something that I would never really need. Or would I?

    Shear thickening fluid. It's not armor itself but it's soaked and then held in fabric. I don't know if it's still on the table as a possibility. The last I saw of it was about 3 years ago.
