Dungeon is associated with Destructive and Summoning magic.
Then why is there not a single Dungeon hero who starts with the Basic Summoning skill and are there TWO heroes who start with Basic Dark Magic.
I'm sure some will be able to come up with some weird explanations for that
but IMO the most logic explanation is that Dungeon was originally designed to be Dark and Destructive (as it should be IMO) and they changed it afterwards without redoing the Heroes.
It's nice to have "rivalries" in the game but those rivalries should be reflected in more than just a background story.
One good way to show the animosity between some factions is in their lenience towards magic schools. In HOMMV this is currently not the case.
IMO, these choices would make a lot more sense :
Haven vs Inferno
Light&Dark vs Destructive&Summoning
Necropolis vs Academy
Dark&Summoning vs Light&Destructive
Elves vs Dark Elves
Light&Summoning vs Dark&Destructive
And on a final note :
NO WAY should the Raise Dead spell be available to EVERY hero, without needing any prerequisite.
In other words, Raise Dead should be a lvl3 spell.
Just the other day I wiped out an opposing stronger force with a small army of Elves led by a Haven Hero (I was playing Dungeon, btw)by continually casting Raise Dead.
I really was "put off" by being able to pull off the win like that. Think about it, a Haven Hero Raising Elven dead all the time without having to pick any skill for it ... makes no sense.
I like this game VERY much but it seems to me it is far from a polished product.
I hope the fanbase can convince the developers that some serious patching work needs to be done.
