There's been a lot of speculation recently about Knights of the Sky (Rise of Flight), specifically over the number of planes that will be included in the initial release and the disappointment people are having with the apparent lack of a mission editor.

So set us straight, neoqb developer VikS dropped by the SimHQ forums to say that nothing is set in stone.. yet...

So everyone - please wait untill official ones.
When? Well, right now we are summing up Leipzig results, so i think "two weeks" is smh close

I will not be surprised if they launch it in six months.

Some of the information released by the developers suggests that it may be released some time this year. I'm hopeful, but as with SoW, I won't hold my breath while I'm waiting. Anyway, got to save up for a rig that will run it!

They even claim it will run with a minimum of 512 mb RAM , that's just great!

There will be an update on SOW monday at the banana forums. Hopefully we will see a substantial update that will give us a better idea on the progress being made.

We can live in hope,but if past updates are anything to go by,I won't get too excited just yet.
I would love to be wrong,but will not be surprised if we get more vague answers and blue screen WIP shots.

The inflight ****pit video seems to be a "Spad" (?)...right? Nice use of 6DOF...I'm looking forward to this one.
