I have been stumped trying to clear the mines in the harbor before they sink a ship. How do I manage that please?
My email is TCOGN@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Plane choice can help use a plane that has cannon.
You need to aim for the mines closest to the ships to start with, simply line them up and take them out.
Don't dive straight down take wide turns and dive slowly toward mine then turn to take out others.

Hey Fordgrunt,
Thanks for the tip on the cannon. I do not have but two choices and neither of them carry cannons. how can I increase my choices.
If you replay some the earlier missions on ace -you will get a Hurricane if you complete the bonus mission (for memory) that has heavy cannon - just not sure which mission.
Otherwise, if don't have cannon you could come in long losing altitude and on a slight angle and as slow as the plane will go and keep shooting until you almost sea level careful not to crash - this should be enough for one to two mines.
Then quickly turn and repeat.

I've found the key is how fast you take out the dive bombers and where you end up. The first time through I kept trying the mines for probably a good hour, hour and a half.
The second time I tried the mission from the start I blew through the Stukas in a hurry and found myself lined up to take out the first three mines perfectly in one pass. If you get frustrated, I'd suggest starting the mission over. FWIW, I found approaching from the sea a lot easier then approaching the mines from the cliffs.
