Thread: Repetetive (spell?) game? | Forums

  1. #1
Ok first of all, I have misspelled the topic :P

However, I wonder if this game might be kinda repetetive (?) if you do the same things over and over. Get in, clean, get out.
So far we haven't seen so much of the game, but I sure hope this game won't be repetetive (lol?)

the game will have different scenarios and will have many things to do.

Think about all the games that only have one thing to do such as Madden (which i still believe is a great game)
I dout it will be repetative

With only 9 guys to target I imagine there will be a lot of side missions to embark upon.

Keep in mind the first 1 or 2 will probably be assassinations with training wheels attached. SO that really only leaves 7-8 real objectives.

Jade mentioned during the social stealth portion of the x06 demo that the option they chose to employ was available due to having helped those monks in the past. I expect a large chunk of the available gameplay to consist of these types of missions.

Then again, does Splinter Cell get repetative? I've played the first three, and my option is a hearty yes. With that said, is Splinter Cell good? Again, I'd have to say yes.

Yeah, there will be missions you can do to make people like or hate you, not to mention what you'll have to do to be able to find the people you need to assassinate.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

And missions where you're more a thief than an assasin.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I'm sure this game will not be like True Crime, where they made about 5 missions are repeated them like 60 times.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

<span class="ev_code_GREY">And here I was under the impression that the very definition of a game was 'a repetative process most likely centered around killing things'.</span><div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Killing things in different ways, killing different things with a few more twists and turns in a cool storyline like no other game. along with many routes around citys, town and villages on horse back, foot and roof top...not all repetitive<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I'm sure this game won't get repetitive because of the freedom it offers. Maybe there won't be a lot of main missions but with the side missions and the fact that you can spend hours climbing and exploring the enormous map I really don't think you'll get bored easily.

This game only has nine missions? Wow, that's a complete let down. The game looks so good to only have 9 missions. They should've put more thought into different missions than releasing a game that will only give you a taste of fun.
