Now that we know microsoft is shutting down live play for these games, I have a polite request for Ubisoft.

Can you please remake these two games for current gen consoles? Pretty Please!!! I have no problem with the Vegas games. But their just not the same. The gameplay was perfect the way it was!

I would like them to remake these games up to a Vegas level graphically, with 60fps. They could even add in all multiplayer maps from Lockdown and Critical Hour as well as some maps from the PC games. As long as the gameplay is not changed one bit from Black arrow we'd be good to go.

So Ubisoft, is this too much to ask? Rainbow was the #1 game on live for a long time. Can't we get our beloved Rainbow back? I mean counterstrike is still going strong on the pc. Rainbow is dead come April 15. But it doesn't have to be!!!

I don't think the public even reads these forums anymore.

When a company completely drops support for a game and doesn't have even one person working on improvements or bug fixes, it dies.


Luckily, other game companies support a game much longer.

This is primarily a problem with UBI products and their "Take what we give you the way we want to give it to you, and then throw it away in a few months and buy something else from us" policy.

Best way to make sure a feature doesn't appear in a future UBI game is to form a "Council" and come up with ideas from the actual people that play and enjoy the previous versions.

Hey, UBI Devs, my council wants health regen, 3rd person views, respawns, aim assist, and none of that lean/prone/map editor/sdk/SADS stuff in your next Strategic and Realistic FPS! K? Thanks!

I figured you were right. I just had to get that off my chest. If they have to make another game like vegas. I just wish they could give us the option to play it exactly the way we prefer to.

I should also make the point to ubisoft: Both R63/BA were both top 10 live games for years.

Where is vegas 1&2 now? Completely off the radar, that's where. You went back to a sands of time style with prince of persia.

Now it's our franchises turn to get the same treatment.

It's now rumored that ubisoft is releasing splinter cell, and prince of persia collections for the ps3. HD,widescreen,stabilized framerate,AA,trophy support. Lets hope these sell really well so Rainbow can get the same treatment!

Best ever games by far, both of them....so many memories here. No other. Games are this fun, exciting, and simply intense and addicting. We must get these back...Xbox live arcade needs this. So many games suck these days so why let the 2 best 2 fps die? I would gladly. Pay $200 for the two if that's what it comes too.
