Thread: NCIS GAME | Forums

I appreciate the delay due to holiday. Just hope it is not too long. I did get a reply quickly about the activation code. That issue was due to the fact I tried to install it third time after trying it out on my business PC to make sure it worked. Are you saying that the store I bought it from can provide a new key?

They maybe willing too if you have had key problems.

However that depends on the stores own policies.

The minimum requirements for NCIS (from http://ubisoft-en.custhelp.com/app/a...KlhUMndwKms%3D) are:
Supported OS: Windows XP(SP3), Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7(SP1)
    Processor: 3.0 GHz Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon64 3000+
    (Recommended: 3.0 GHz Pentium D / Athlon64 X2 4000+ or higher)
RAM: 512 MB for XP / 1 GB for Vista and Windows 7
(Recommended: 1 GB for XP / 2 GB for Vista and Windows 7)
Video Card: 256 MB DirectX 9.0c-compatible video card *
(Recommended: 512 MB or higher DirectX 9.0c-compatible card)
Sound Card: Any DirectX 9.0c–compatible sound card
    DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c
    DVD-ROM: 4x DVD-ROM or better
    Hard Drive Space: 4 GB
Peripherals Supported: Windows-compliant keyboard and mouse required

*Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:
    NVIDIA GeForce 6800 or higher / 7 / 8 / 9 / GT200, GT400, GT500 families
ATI Radeon X1650 or higher / HD2000-6000 families

Laptop versions of these cards may work but are NOT supported.
Note that laptop graphics are not guaranteed to work. Is you card on the list of supported cards?

Without doing extensive research, I suspect you're mistaken. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon it seems the x800 is lower specification than the lowest listed ATI card on the supported graphics list. The lowest listed ATI card is the X1650 which according to the above source supports DirectX 9c and Shader Model 3.0 while your card only supports DX9b and shader 2.0 (plus some extensions). This is likely the reason the game missions aren't loading once the intro completes.

Not Saying that this is the same soltiuon for all the comments on this thread however i had the same issue with the message "application is already running "and not allowing me to start the game i SOLVED this by going to device manager and downgrading my graphics card driver to an older one my graphics card is an ATI Radeon 4350,
This can be done by right clicking the computer icon from the start menu, going to properties then going to device manager on the left hand side, expand display adapters, double click the graphics card, click on the driver tab click on update driver and click browse my computer for software, then choose let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer, select an older driver from this list. if you do not have more than one option in this list then i assume that your solution may be to choose search automatically for updated software on the previous menu instead of let me choose from drivers on the computer. Hope this will work Merry Christmas.
