I can't run PoP(2008) on resolution higher than 640x400 | Forums

I have a problem. When I first run PoP I've got a black screen with "VIDEO MODE NOT SUPPORTED" message. I thought that I have wrong resolution in settings, but it was good(1280x1024). So, I try run PoP wit other ressolution that my monitor support, but I can only run it in 640x400. Any one know how can i resolve the problem?

I guess the games tries to run at a refreshrate that your monitor doesn support.

Try using Powerstrip or Refreshlock to lock the refreshrate of your videocard.

Looks like that was that (I think I must buy a new monitor). Very thanks for help.

Edit: I think I won't be able to pley this game. I lock refresh rate with RefreshLock and using command (-hz 60) on shortcut. I think that work but it works only for menu. When I start new game, I see first video and then i see about 7 cm vertical black stripes falling down my screen. What do you think, is any resolution for this problem or I can only take the game bact to the shop ?
