To avoid you all being faced with a wall of links any further screenshots of the day will be posted in the newly created thread

    <UL TYPE=SQUARE>.................................................. ............[/list]

The title says it all, each day this week we'll post a new screen shot from the game. As I was off yesterday we kick off with 2 new screen shots for you all

Screenshot 17th February - The Dragon head is one of the entry points to the Underground.

Screenshot 16th February - Orcs defending their Stronghold city

Screenshot 15th February - The Underground is not only made of natural caves, but also of mysterious dungeons…

Sreenshot 14th February - Founded one century before the events of Heroes VI, the Sect of the Necromancers is growing in power in the Seven Cities.

Screenshot 11th February - A Necropolis Fort has recently been built in the lovely vale of Heresh. Not a very good sign for the future…

February 10th Screenshot - This barren island is under the control of an Inferno Fort.

February 9th Screenshot - A small wooden bridge lead to the Arena. Will you challenge the champions of the coliseum to increase your abilities?

February 8th Screenshot - Istvan’s Gardens, named after the legendary founder of the Griffin dynasty, are one of the wonders of the great Haven city of Eastalon, the capitol of the Griffin Duchy.

February 7th Screenshot - The ravine of Nelsham’s Scar is located between the lands of the Bull duchy and the pleasant vale of Heresh to the south. Lately some rumours state that a sect from the Seven Cities has been establishing outposts in Heresh, prompting the Haven knights to build a fortress on their borders…

February 4th Screenshot - A stronghold army is attacking a Stronghold fortress. Their catapult is surely original. Imagine the way it works!

    Discover the Cyclops Concept Arts!
You’ve already seen a speed painting. Now check out the 2 Cyclops concept arts: basic and upgrade version.

<UL TYPE=SQUARE>The Cyclops – click to view high res screenshot

Cyclops are the Goblins' opposites. They too were a "failure" in the Orc experiment, but because they were born from the blood of major demons. The demon part of their blood took over, and they became monstrous giants, body and mind twisted by chaotic surges.

Cyclops often measure more than 10 feet tall, and they definitely look more demonic than human. A curious trait they all share is that they have only one eye: a large, pupil-less disc, red and glowing. No one knows for sure the cause of this mutation, but a popular wizard theory claims that it is the "mark of Chaos", a symbol of the Dragon-snake Urgash, coiled in a circle, eating its own tail.

Though they are by nature calm with a child-like simplicity, when they are hurt (physically or emotionally), they develop an explosive and terrifying rage. This makes them dangerous to everyone, their own kind included.
While many factions would love to harness their power, only the Orcs have the strength, patience, and courage to “tame” them and give them a place in their villages as "power workers”, and on the battlefield as heavy shock troops and “siege engines”.

Chinese New Year screenshot - Along with the screenshot of the day, discover this screenshot done last week for Chinese New Year! There is an easter egg hidden in it. Can you find it?

Map editor interface - You may have already seen this image: a screenshot from the map editor you’ll get at game release.

    Enjoy!

Please, oh PLEASE tell me the game has Anti-Aliasing support. The screenshots look great, but they would look GORGEOUS if it weren't for the jaggies.

Settlers 7 suffers from this problem - it would be a great looking game if it was possible to enable AA, like in Anno 1404.

If this thread will be updated daily, you might want to make it sticky.

    QFT.

There is no reason to not have AA in game. It has been a PC standard to a very very long time. This game is also only on PC so there is no excuse for not having it.

I'm running heroes 5 with 32CSAA + 8TRSSAA. But it runs perfect because I can set it to enhance, if there is no AA option in game, I have to set it to override and the performance hit is much worse because the game doesn't know how to apply it and the performance hit is 10x that of in game AA for the same visuals ( well less considering I'd have to use less AA because of the performance loss )
