A little about me first, I have been playing PT and CT for a long time and have been on this board since DA was annouced hoping to get any informtion and a peek at DA. I have seen all the posts complaining about PD, the bald spy, the PC vs. 360 wars, everything. Till now I never really posted. Maybe one or two posts about nothing really. But now on the eve of DA arriving on shelves and the demo release I must speak.

All I'm seeing is people downing the demo and saying "I hate the PD it's impossible to stealth" to those people I say one thing "cry" it's a game stop whining, it will now force you to adapt to a new playstyle the way the game was MEANT to be played, over are the times of spies triple nading and shocking the mercs, now I was an aggro spy and I do those things, but this game forces me to change, and I embrace it cause all things change. Did you ever think about once a merc is about to close within 10m of you to back off so as not to beep? For god sakes you have 20 min and 4 terminals don't get pissed off because you can't get 2 files in 2 min.

People see it as Spies are nerfed so to say and it's a lot harder, but I think it's perfectly balanced. I mean have you even tried the escape moves when spotted? You can literally be gone in a sec or 2 if you have an escape plan before you make your move. But no, you complain that the PD has made life to hard because you can't snap necks left and right. Therefore you just say the game sucks because the developers didn't cater to you. Call me crazy but I think a game where killing is more emphasized then hacking the objectives is more quake style and this is not that game. This is a stealth game where you the less seen you are the more in your favor. I can certainly understand frustration with PD BUT, there is and always will be a way to escape and try a new position of attack, the only reason I would agree with anyone complaining about PD is if the map consisted of a large semi lit room where the no boxes,vent,hallways,roofs, etc to hide. But this isn't the case you have PLENTY of options make use of them instead of logging in and complaining you can't do anything. Please down the demo for things it should be downed for like waiting 4 hours to join a session and host quitting. But please don't down the game for becoming the game it was meant to become.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I read 5 lines of the second paragraph and I stopped. I seriosly think there should be a section for MP and a section for SP on the forums. It just gets really repetitive looking at people talking about Mp all the time 24/7.

In the End SP was the thing that made DA what it is today.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Stop complaining about PD, stop complaining how mercs are overpowered, learn to play.

I think you mis-understand the guys above. It isnt that your post is too complicated for them, its that they are tired of seeing everyone's expert opinion on the MP demo. I totally understand them. Every SC 'expert' has come out of the wordwork to explain why everyone else should shut up. Its tiring. Look at the title of your post, and the title of half the other threads. It is getting repetitive. Mind you, Im not cutting you down, its just that your thread is seemingly just one opinionated fish in a sea of opinionated fish. I only say this because you almost seem to take offence, and imply that the guys are dumb just because they dont want to read ANOTHER topic that is more or less the same as the others. Since I feel the same as them, I think it appropriate that I indicated that neither I, nor them, are dumb.

I agree with you on almost everything, I like the fact that you have to be stealthy, I never played as an agressive spy in the last game so Im happy that you cant do it in this game.The PD is a good idea, I have played about 20 games now and Im really starting to like the changes in the game, its way more balanced and in many ways more fun.

So you beleive that just because you didn't play the game a certain way means that other people can't play it thier way?

So are you saying "My way is the only way!" sorry but that doesn't work. Im gonna play the game the way I want to. Unless I am cheating, glitching, or playing unfairly you have no right to judge my or anyone else's playstyles out there.

This is about the 30th post saying the exact same thing. Its not that its too long or you need to "dumb it down for us". Its that youve got nothing new to say.
