I don't understand how this game was even released...graphics aside, it is completely substandard to the origional, which was released on a last generation console. And to be honest, the graphics seem like a ported PS2 game. How is it that Ubisoft can continue to put out flight combat games that are getting successively worse than the last bad flight combat game they put out?
Please, Ubisoft, stop the travesties. Focus more on decent level design, or giving us more than one set of flight characteristics for fifty planes...no one cares if you have a thousand planes if they all handle mostly the same. And your steady stream of gimmicks like 'ace mode' or 'movie camera mode' or 'defensive weapons' or 'assistance off' mode does NOT cover up the fact that the games you included them in are poorly thought out and less fun than the flight combat games from a previous generation of consoles.
What you are doing is ****ing off your current base of people that are interested in the flight combat genre. We certainly have no urge to play games that are such consistent let-downs. I will not be purchasing any more of your games, and lament the fact that a new generation of gamers is coming to believe that these games are adequate because they've not had the opportunity to play anything better. You are single-handedly ******ing the genre of flight combat gaming.
In reference to Heroes Over Europe specifically: Had I hired a housepainter who did this lousy a job on my property, I would sue him for my money back. You owe us an apology.
If you can't get your act together, quit making fighter games. This game should have been a $15 title on Xbox arcade, and that is pushing it.
You should be ashamed for ripping off gamers with this crap. There is no defense for your actions.
Goobye, Ubisoft, and good damned riddance.
