It’s only a matter of days now before you get your hands on the R.U.S.E. Public Beta, and until that epic moment, you may want to take a look at the minimum and recommended tech specs below. As usual, those are our recommendation to ensure you guys have the smoothest and most pleasant experience while playing the game.

On a side note, some of the community folks should be happy to hear that we worked some time ago on the optimization of our IRISZOOM engine to make it runs smoothly on laptops. The good news is that we ended with more than satisfying results on most of them. This Public Beta is then also on occasion for laptops owners to let us know how the game goes on their baby.

    Minimum system configuration:
    CPU: 2.8 GHz Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD® Athlon™ 64 3000+ or higher
Operating System: Windows® XP (with Service Pack 3) or Windows Vista® (with Service Pack 2) or Windows® 7
RAM: 1 GB for XP / 2 GB for Vista and Win7
    DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM speed 4x, dual-layer drive
Video Card: 128 MB DirectX® 9.0c-compliant video card (ATI® Radeon X1000/GeForce® 6 Series or better)
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c-compliant sound card
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (included on disc)

    Recommended system configuration:
    CPU: 3.5 GHz Intel® Pentium® D or AMD® Athlon™ 64 3500+ or higher
Operating System: Windows® XP (with Service Pack 3) or Windows Vista® (with Service Pack 2) or Windows® 7
    RAM: 2 GB (XP / Vista / Win7)
    DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM speed 4x, dual-layer drive
    Video Card: 256 MB DirectX® 9.0c-compliant video card (ATI® Radeon X1900 series / GeForce® 7800 or better)
Sound Card: DirectX® 9.0c-compliant sound card
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (included on disc)

Wuzzi is the public beta using the new launcher yet?

as I think if people have a chance to see it before buying games there would be less people complaining about it.

So this game from Ubi actually supports windows 7? That's good to hear.

Last one I tried that came out in 2009 they just threw up their hands and said "it's not supported so don't try it."

Really? Cause it worked fine on my laptop during the Private Beta Mind you i ran it on low, but it still ran without a hitch 90% of the time. But if i can play it on higher settings now i wont complain

And are these the same specs as the Private Beta? I cant remember what they were

And ya, it will work on W7, as if you have a touch screen comp. you can apparently utilize that cool function to play the game.

Well, the VIP beta ran good on my comp, but then the game had some serious network issues. Or maybe it was only for me, I don't know really. It was laggy and unplayable at times. I really would like to see that the open beta fixed this kind of weirdness.
