I already beat the game but I wasd just wondering about this weird thing just before you kill Soth and the last two terrorists. I found that the only way to get to Soth and his men were to go up the two ladders and jump onto his platform. But to do that sucessfully I had to knock out all the maintenance people and kill them before the timer ran out. But I found this pulley-like cable which you can climb up but it doesn't lead you anywhere, so what's the deal with it?

lol, you dont have to kill/knock out those maintenance people. Heck the counter shouldnt start until you get all the way around and climb that ladder.

Yeah that cable doesnt go anywhere, odd. I did not find it necessary to knock out the civilians... if you are inventive with shooting out lights and whistling you can get them out of your way. That way you won't be timed until you climb the ladder.

I made it to the top platform before i was seen and then the counter started It took about 6 tries but I finally figured it out
The pulley is there to aggrevate you the first couple of times so that you waste your time trying to get to Soth as are some of the ladders...
Think Twice. Act Once.
