Thread: Don't Believe the Hype | Forums

  1. #1
We've been down this road once, I fell for it once but if you catch me fall for it twice that would make me a fool.

GR3 looks promising but will there be a title for PC? Only time will tell... Once I see it on a local EB store shelf then maybe, maybe I would actually show some interest. But for now....

    DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!

Not until I see a demo made available will a dime be spent.

Boy that is one of the most ignorant replies I have read in these forums from anyUBI representative yet in the time I have been here.

For starters, UR, you and all UBI reps should be kissing all of our buttocks for us even bothering to post anything here after the absolutle "No Info" and "Money, err, XBox first" attitude you gave your loyal PC crowd.

Why don't you take it upon yourself, and maybe Hangtown also, to actually provide us with information and updates as to how the PC version is coming along, not just reposting Xbox 360 trailers and pics here.

And maybe answer some basic questions right away, so we don't have to waste our time waiting for the final product (possibly) being released for PC.

Actually I dare you to answer these questions directly antyime within the next 6 months.

    Replays?
    Control more than one character?
    Control more than one squad?
Ability to toggle on permenantly First Person View?

UR, you have over 1300 posts and must have read literally tens of thousands of replies from the loyal GR PC Crowd. You know as well as all of us that to keep us happy, the answers to all of those questions has to be yes. Do you dare answer any of them now, and honestly? I doubt it. The breakdown thread here provided by kleaneasy makes mention of only one character controlled by the player, and this in itself pretty much removes the "Classic" GR feel we want.

My selfdefeating attitude developed over a year of mistreatment by UBI on these forums. You want me to change it, UR, you better start working on it right now.

Well said 12Gauge, you took the words right out of my mouth. I have enough of this 'ignore the PC user' attitude of UBI. We've been down this road too many times before to believe anything from UBI again. First see than i'll believe.
