Thread: Proximity Mines Great in Face Off | Forums

So good for sticking them to doors that are required to use to get through the map. I haven't lost yet since I have been using them.

I knew that was going to happen. Face off is ruined due to the bad spawn points and map layout.

There are too many places that are choke points or funnel systems for one spy to take advantage of. Now with proximity mines it just makes it worse.

Only complete noobs use proximity mines, and the way you're using it clearly proves this. Not only does it turn the game into "Who can kill the most AI," but it also shows you're simply too scared to have the other spy anywhere near you, so you block him off and stick to killing AI. The real spy would be hunting the other spy, not hiding in the corner of the map throwing proximity mines everywhere. *Facepalm*

Actually proxy mines have nothing to do with being a noob, if I'm getting chased and I throw one down that makes me a noob? No, I'll tell you what a noob is. The guy sitting in the deepest corner of the map behind cover where the only way to get to him is straight on, so he can line up a headshot while in cover and then pop out and shoot you. Not mention sit there the entire game, that my friend is a noob.

Dude I could woop you easily. I had the all of the Face Off Achievements before the Mines, I was just stating how overpowered they are. Calm down noob.

I don't play with gadgets or Sonar, to me there is simply no challenge when these options are on.

Some of you guys should try playing with gadgets off and only pistols on, it becomes a more stealthy and challenging experience .

Exactly, Face Off is more of an open type game (especially with no guards). Play Infiltration if you are gonna play like T9X mentioned.

Considering I have NEVER lost a single ROUND, let alone game of Face-Off, mines or not, I seriously doubt that.

Yes, I'm pretty sure just like EVERYONE else on these forums and other forums about Conviction, you never lost a single round and everyone sucks. We know
