Thread: WILL MICHAEL IRONSIDE VOICE FOR SC: CONVICTION? | Forums

  1. #1
I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT SPLINTER CELL CONVICTION, WILL MICHAEL IRONSIDE THE VOICE OF SAM FISHER WILL CONTINUE TO VOICE FOR THE GAME OF CONVICTION? IF NOT WHO WILL?
IN MY OPINION I LOVE MICHAEL IRONSIDE'S VOICE AND I LIKE HEARING HIM WHEN IM PLAYING SPLINTER CELL, IT WILL SUCK IF ANOTHER VOICE WILL TAKE OVER AND IT WILL NOT BE THE SAME WITH SAM FISHER. I READ AN INTERNET ARTICLE THAT MICHEAL IRONSIDE MAY NOT PLAY THE VOICE OF SAM FISHER FOR CONVICTION, I HOPE HE WILL BECAUSE IN MY CASE I LIKE HIS VOICE AND ALSO BECAUSE HE DID ALL OF THE SPLINTER CELL FROM THE BEGINNING AND I THINK HE SHOULD CONTINUE TO DO THE VOICE OF SAM FISHER. IF THEY DO REPLACE MICHAEL IRONSIDE'S VOICE I HOPE THEY PUT ANOTHER VOICE SIMILAR TO MICHAEL IRONSIDE NOT A WEAK TONE OR COMPLETELY OPPOSITE FOR ME IT RUIN THE GAME.

Please, take off the CAPS lock...NOW. Many people hate it and might even flame you. But anyways no confirmation yet if he is doing the voice.

    We can see that.

Now, as for Michael Ironside playing Sam again in this one...

    I don't know. Nobody knows.

Jeez I know, I probably only heard his voice once every mission. I personally think they abused their privelege to use Ironside as a voiceover. In all the other games there were 3 times more dialogue easily. I hope Conviction has more than that.

you have a better chance of getting attacked in a desert by a shark than Ironside not doing Sam's voice. But I guess there's always that chance.....

Michael = Fisher... you all should remember how afwfully bad the "I-think-I-caught-a-cold"-voice Lambert had in PT... It was soo awfully bad... No offence to the voice actor on that part, the acting wasn't bad... it just wasn't Lambert...
It is vital for any game I buy that I can play it. However, my internet connection is fast-but-unstable, so Ubisoft is not getting a penny.

This signature is an I'm-sorry note to the developers, who might be deserving of my money. I hope you guys

Sam doesn't look like he has a whole lot of people to talk to in Conviction...

From what I've seen, he doesn't interact, speech-wise with anyone really, so there might be alot less dialogue than we're hoping for...

I don't think there's going to be much interrogating this time around, it looks like Sam just does his thing, snaps necks, and moves on...

Now that you can just walk freely, there is alot less talking involved since you basically don't need to find out how many guards are in every room...

I too prefer the original Lambert, Don Jordan, but that's only because he was first. Dennis Haysbert is a class actor with a magnificent voice. If he'd been first, I would have loved for him to voice Lambert in every game.
