Thread: Stuck on the Loading Screen? | Forums

  1. #1
    Morning All,

Hope someone can help me out. Im trying to install Rainbox Six on my PC. Installation is fine and doesnt have any problems, after install when i run the game I can get as far as the loading screen with the 3 men running then it just doesnt load, task manager reports the game as not responding. Any ideas?

Ive patched the game up to 1.06, this including patching 1.05 first then 1.06 after. Plus ive tried a clean install onto a different partition!! My graphics card drivers are also bang upto date.

    Here is My PC Spec:

    Intel Quad Core Q6600
    1GB Ram
    Nvidia 9600GT Graphics Card
    250GB HD

    Any help/suggestions would be good.

    Cheers

Probably a RAM issue? 1GB is the minimum requirement for vegas to run, recommended is 2GB.

Considering you've got relatively high spec parts, where's the rest of your RAM?

Also, what OS are you using? If you're on Vista you want 2GB minimum.

I'm guessing this is your first build? Did you get a decent power supply, or a cheap unbranded one?

Are you using a 64bit OS? If not you won't be able to fully utilise a whole 4gb, and if you are you may get difficulty with some games and other software
