what can we expect for a damage model in GRAW? I'm sure this may be some info I could easily find out if I read hard enough, but I'm lazy. Is it going to be the same as we have come to know from RSE games? Or did they adopt a weak BF2 style where you can get shot 3 times and still run and jump and fire unimpeded?

Try to peek your head to far out from your cover, and if you can get it back down in one piece, I will tell ye

(In other words.. one shot, one kill)

ya, I know that much...but even with these generally being one shot one kill games there was always a somewhat realistic damage model. Shoot a round thru a leg and buddy has a limp. Shoot him in the arm and his accuracy is affected. Can we still expect this kind of behavior from the damage model?

There is a stamina system which govern all of these things. I believe it works like so:

Everyone has a certain amount of stamina. Running, etc drains your stamina, but doesn't stop you from being able to run. Being wounded will cause you to loose stamina much more quickly.

Whilst stamina doesn't effect your ability to move, it does have a big impact on your aim and ability to control your fire. Put simply, A wounded soldier won't be as effective as a healthy one. Stamina may also effect other things but at the present time this is all we know.

There is no location based wounding system like GR 1, but it is still mostly 1 shot 1 kill unless you just get grazed by the bullet or perhaps you have only taken a single hit in a non-vital area like a leg or arm. In short, there are no gimping wounds. This has been discussed before at some length by the community. Most people were happy that there is at least a disvantage from being hit but not killed outright.

I believe that is correct. Feel free to contradict me if I'm wrong or add anything I've missed.

i remember there wil lbe no damage animations, as it requires more than 10000 animaitons to make to a character something like that, so it's not necessary...
but one shot, one kill is all for now. jsut my thought

typical...that's just plaim weak and lazy. I really don't think the hits we take in gameplay mechanics is worth the advancements made in gfx. I would much rather play a game that takes a hit in gfx quality to bring u a much more immersive and interactive world (like San Andreas) than play in a near photo realistic world with less to do and less to see.
