Sounds like you just need to adjust the input curve.

No offense but take about an hour to sit down and learn to use your gear.

    Seriously...

I had a TIR 2 and I had it for about a year before I learned how to use it properly. I had gotten so frustrated with it that I had stopped using it... I took the time to fully explore the sogtware and got it working flawlwessly. The only reaso I got a TIR 4 was for 6DoF.

Even with the default profiles you shouldn't be getting the problems you describe.
First things first...open the 'Heads' and 'Tracking' windows and check just what is going on. I bet the clip needs a tweak to get the right pattern or maybe there is something causing light interference. Best of luck

You may need to go to Natrual Piont's web site and check for software updates. I had to get a new version when I installed Vista.

Can you open the profile to the editing screen (where it shows the line graphs for each axis) and take a screenshot and post it here? That way we might be able to make a recommendation on changes to the profile or maybe even confirm if it's the profile or a software/hardware problem.
