I am working on a mod for FarCry called Dusk. I am trying to make it take place over one night.

Story:

"You are Clint Healey. A group of oil workers went to a remote island in the pacific looking for potential refining locations. That was a week ago, and no one has heard from them. The United States government sent 3 teams of elite soldiers to the island to recover the missing persons, suspected kidnapped. Due to high radio activity on the island, communication is limited. You are dropped on the beach at dusk to give you just enough light to set up camp, but also allow darkness to shield you."

You head out at dusk after getting dropped off by a helecopter, as you are running away the helicopter explodes. I have been working on the opening cut scene, here are some shots.





I have to work on the map and add some more details and stuff.. But it should be pretty cool. There is a cool plot twist I have, but I am going to keep that quiet to the outside. If you are interested in beta testing / map making / helping with the project in any way drop me a line, or respond in this forum. I appreciate any help I can get considering I am a 1 man team. I made a few maps and mods for quake 3 ( http://www.planetquake.com/sloanbone ) but FarCry is a totally different and awesome world.
