Just a simple Question on why did you choose D-Day and not any of the other dates like

Sept 3, 1939 - Britain, France, Australia and New Zealand declare war on Germany.

Sept 5, 1939 - United States proclaims neutrality; German troops cross the Vistula River in Poland.

Dec 8, 1941 - United States and Britain declare war on Japan; United States Enters The War.

Dec 11, 1941 - Germany declares war on the United States.

Jan 26, 1942 - First American forces arrive in Great Britain.

June 6, 1944 - D-Day landings.

1946 END

if this game is based on the BBC series (which it look allot like it dose) D-Day is right at the end and not much fighting in the game ?

But why D-Day thow game chould of been allot longer if it started from 1941 (so USA are in it) so you get more veriaty of game play

First of all the "Band of Brothers" mini series
was not a BBC product. Its an american film made by an american director Stephen spielberg and Tom Hanks,and produced by HBO.Secondly the invasion of europe was the single most important event in the war with germany.The us and british paratroop divisions were key in securing a foothold in normandy without them the whole allied invasion would have been a failure.As for fighting their was plenty of it in normandy just go visit
the graveyards there the evidence is deniable.

BBC just showed Band Of Brothers years after it was made.
HBO aired Band of Brothers in 2001, so its been out for a while

possibly another reason that the game starts in 1944 is because the 101st wasnt deployed until then (is that correct?)

Wow ur dumb...How can you say the game is based on Band of Brothers, It talks about how they were there for 8 days and stuff. Last time i checked band of brothers was 10 episodes spanning from bootcamp, d-day, cateran and battle of the bulge along with the liberation of a Concentration camp. I dont think any of that is goin to happen in this game besides the d-day drop. Wouldn't u all like to see a D-day beach landing cause MOHAA is out of date.

Ok for the last time, the game is based off of an American Paratroop unit, so where else will it take place other then here, and still catch everyones eye?

how can this be based off of Band of Brothers??.... its not even the same company.... h*ll isnt even the same regiment... BoB was 506th... this is 502nd............ and yes... the 101st AB div. saw its first combat ever on D-Day

u dont know much about WWII do u??..... those are just random dates when things happen.... "Dec 11, 1941 - Germany declares war on the United States." thats just when Germany declared war.... there was no actual battle.... out off all those dates D-Day is really the only date when a battle took place..... make a game based on Germany Declaring war on US wouldnt be very fun

P.S. u got the late date wrong.... WWII end in 1945 not 1946
